ANGELS LANDING
Angels Landing is a hiking trail in Zion National Park. I've done it twice now, once in 2019 and now in 2024. Now, in order to hike to the summit you need a permit issued through a lottery system. There are two type of lotteries, one is an advanced reservation where you can select a future date, and the other is a drawing they do the day before at 4PM. I was awarded a slot likely due to it being in the middle of the week and being a solo party. There were several park rangers that were checking passes at Scouts Landing prior to the chained section of the trail.
